Two ways we support emerging managers
MDF Capital Partners
MDFCP provides non-dilutive loans of $100K to $1M for emerging impact fund managers and project sponsors across the United States. Managers use the capital for warehouse lines, first-close capital, fund formation costs, and operating runway during fundraising. Flexible terms, no personal guarantees, no minimum credit scores, and Islamic and revenue-based financing options available.
MDFCP is fully deployed and no longer accepting capital.
Bold Line Capital
Bold Line is a joint venture with Community Capital Management that provides subscription lines of credit, also known as capital call lines, to emerging impact fund managers. It's purpose-built for next-generation impact funds that need working-capital infrastructure to deploy their committed capital efficiently. For-profit and nonprofit entities are both eligible.
Who we work with
We work with fund managers and project sponsors that have: A clear investment thesis; a credible path to first close; operational infrastructure in place or in progress; and that have demonstrated alignment with inclusive and equitable access values.
Fund managers
We work with emerging managers deploying products with community impact — across venture, private credit, private equity, and real estate. Our focus is on managers from historically underrepresented backgrounds who haven't had access to the launch infrastructure that more established funds take for granted.
Project sponsors
We also support leaders and sponsors of community-focused projects who face similar challenges to emerging fund managers in accessing capital and executing their vision, with particular emphasis on real estate and infrastructure projects led by project sponsors of color.
