I have always been passionate about caring for people, and in fact, my entire career has been in the care sector. I have raised my own three children, I was a foster parent for five wonderful years, and I worked in a group home as well. I realized early on that my heart truly lies in nurturing people of all kinds. My experience as a foster parent gave me a deep understanding of how important it is for kids to feel safe and loved before they are able to grow and thrive, and I bring that to my work every day. I love witnessing those 'aha!' moments for little kids, those sparks of understanding, the realization that there is so much more to learn and do and experience. I have dreamed of opening my own child care program since college and I am incredibly proud of the program I have put together at Minion Ranch Child Care.
I was born and raised in Southern California spending my days at the beach or at Disneyland! I actually know what an "E" ticket ride is and got to watch the fireworks nightly, which probably influenced my love of childhood wonder, imagination, and possibility. Outside of child care, I'm a big audiobook fan – it's the only way to get through my reading list these days! I also love hanging out with my family and playing board and card games. I have a son with special needs and so we spend time challenging ourselves to find new ways to engage and include him into our activities as well.

Where hearts and minds saddle up for fun and learning!
Minion Ranch Child Care LLC
Minion Ranch Child Care is the culmination of my personal experience as a care giver in many different settings. A safe, loving, inclusive environment is the foundation on which we build all of our programming. Our philosophy centers on the principles of learning through play: keeping children actively engaged, intrinsically motivated, and always having fun. Complementing this approach is an age-appropriate early learning curriculum that provides the roadmap to Kindergarten readiness. Our aim is to instill a lifelong love of learning, alongside the values of kindness and compassion, so children will matue into responsible, empathetic, and caring young people.
At Minion Ranch, we celebrate all of life's littlest victories just as a family would, we are patient with each other, we lift each other up, and we adapt when needed. There is truly room for everyone at Minion Ranch because when kids feel safe, loved, and engaged, they can achieve anything.
