A partnership built for health equity

Thanks to our partnership with Elevance Health Foundation, we are providing accessible and affordable financing to small businesses and nonprofits like yours to drive health access. This funding is designed to empower organizations that are making a difference in under-resourced communities by advancing physical, social, and behavioral health outcomes.

Since 2024, Elevance Health Foundation has disbursed $1.7 million across 9 businesses*.

We invite you to apply if your organization:

  • Serves communities in key states: California, Georgia, Indiana, Missouri, New York, Ohio, Texas, or Virginia.

  • Supports individuals with physical disabilities or health challenges. You provide essential products or services to those managing physical disabilities or chronic conditions such as diabetes, heart disease, cancer, maternal/child health issues, or physical issues related to aging.

  • Addresses behavioral or mental health needs. You offer direct support for individuals facing behavioral or mental health challenges, including care for substance abuse, depression, anxiety, and social isolation, or age-related mental health concerns.

  • Tackles societal factors impacting health outcomes. You provide access to nutritious food, language translation services, racial justice initiatives, immigrant advocacy, or other programs that help individuals understand and navigate health information to make informed decisions.

    We are particularly interested in organizations that serve historically marginalized or socially vulnerable communities—including but not limited to people of color, women, and low-to-moderate-income individuals—or that employ a workforce largely comprising individuals from these communities.

We provide loans for:


Health-related small businesses and nonprofits owned by, led by, or serving people from communities of color, women, and/or low-to-moderate income individuals in: CA, GA, IN, MO, NY, OH, TX, and VA.

  • Loan size: $100K–$1M

  • Terms: Up to 5 years

  • Interest rate3: Prime minus 1%, currently 5.75 %

  • Fees: $250 application fee, plus up to 3% closing costs

  • Abide Women’s Health Services in Texas supports the improvement of maternal health outcomes through the development of a new birthing center offering holistic, evidence-based care.
  • Challenge Center in California works to improve the quality of life and increase independence of seniors, people of all ages with disabilities, and their families, through extended physical therapy and specialized health and wellness programs, while providing financial assistance to individuals with low income.
  • EXCEED in California offers vocational training, job experience, and life skills to adults with disabilities, empowering them for independent living.
  • Firefly Wellness in Georgia provides evidence-based therapy services to adults, teens, and children struggling with anxiety, depression, and neurodevelopmental differences.
  • Psyched Services in California supports children’s behavioral and social health by collaborating with school psychologists and families.
  • Revby in Georgia provides culturally competent business technical assistance — including financial strategy, marketing, and technology support — to small business owners in underserved communities who are too often left behind by traditional services.
  • Tierras Indígenas Community Land Trust in California aims to preserve the culture of San Diego neighborhoods such as Barrio Logan by expanding access to affordable housing, promoting local art and culture, and creating pathways to homeownership for low-income residents.
  • Vantage Point in California helps people with disabilities and other barriers find meaningful employment, partnering with local businesses to build more inclusive workforces as an approved vendor of California's Department of Rehabilitation.
  • Wish Well in California supports therapy and empowerment through coaching for youth.
