A typical day at Barbara's Babies includes periods of joyful play and exploration both indoors and outside, calming and quiet rest time, and age appropriate academics and social emotional learning. Every day includes circle time for group learning, singing songs and practicing their hand dances, and general movement. I use both Spanish and English as I am bilingual and we learn and use sign language during the day which helps our pre-verbal children communicate effectively. One highlight of Barbara’s Babies is how hands on I like the kids to be. We paint and make big art, make slime, explore with playdough, and get our hands dirty in the garden where we learn about growing vegetables and herbs. 

I have generous regular hours to ensure that parents have the ability to work or go to school while knowing that their child is in a safe, loving, educational environment. As a single parent myself, I know how important it is to have a team that you can trust and rely on. At Barbara’s Babies, we work together so you never feel alone on this journey.
